Updates...

Hope everyone is doing well! We've had quite the busy time around our house lately. Nana and Grandpa Clark came from Wisconsin to visit us Valentines Day and Avery had such a good time during her visit. Nana made Avery heart shaped pancakes Valentines morning, which she only poked at, while Grandpa and Brian got ready to head to Florida for the Daytona 500. She had so much fun playing with Nana and reading books on the puffy red couch. She still heads for that couch, book in hand, daily. We asked for Daddy and Grandpa to bring us back a souvenir from the race..with one stipulation, nothing rednecky. We didn't get any souvenirs..imagine that! Nana got to visit Little Gym with Avery and made the comment that Avery thinks she is the teacher..yes she does!! We had a wonderful visit and can't wait to see them again in March! Other updates: Avery came down with a little stomach bug the day Nana and Grandpa left but quickly recovered. I, on the otherhand, came down with the worst stomach "bug" I've ever had but with Brian as my doctor and my sweet little Avery to offer me her beloved stuffed Hippo, "Hazel", I too recovered. Brian and I killed Bonnie and Clyde the very first time we changed their water...not real sure what happened but we will be heading back to the pet store as soon as Avery realizes we haven't fed them!! RIP B & C. Other than that, we are doing well and will update again soon.
