We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season and is ready for the New Year. This year I promised Brian that I would stay awake to ring in the New Year with him.....oops. We started off by sharing sushi, some wine and of course cupcakes...doesn't everyone eat cupcakes on New Years Eve?? Avery went to bed around 6:30 and I was already tired!! We did a couple of things around the house, I read some in my new book and then we decided to play Scrabble. I thought that would keep me awake but it actually made me even more tired. After one game and losing to Brian I was done. We decided to watch some TV and that's when I felt my eyelids start to close. We then decided to partake in the champagne toast a little early and I was out. I did wake up 10 minutes before 12:00 so I can say I was awake. Hope everyone enjoyed their night whether it was full of craziness and celebration or snoozing on the couch....Let's all make 2009 a good one!!

That's okay I woke up about the same time you did and found Alex and Aaron still awake in the kitchen making crafts! We watched the ball drop and then I crashed again.
