Too much candy....

Let me start by saying, I realize now it was a good thing that Brian and I "made" Avery be a goldfish this year as opposed to any other year. I don't think she will ever willingly dress in such craziness again. Avery had a party the day before Halloween at the Little Gym. The party was for children 3 and under and only lasted an hour but I do believe she felt like it lasted 10 hours. We aren't sure if it was the goldfish mouth blocking her peripheral or if it was the overwhelming high volume at the Little Gym that got to her but she never cracked a smile the whole time we were there!! It was kind of funny but I felt bad for her towards the end. The first pictures in the slide show are at the Little Gym so you can see the mass chaos that we were a part of. It was a great idea and she did warm up to everyone towards the end. She was the only goldfish at this party and there were so many cute costumes!! One of the little boys in her class came as an avocado and his mother made his costume!!! Oh to be creative.... We saw cows, pumpkins, fairy princesses, thing 1, and even a rooster but none could compare to goldie. We decided to leave around 5:30 Halloween evening and drive over to Mt. Pleasant to visit some friends. We ended up making it to Joe and Emily's and Amanda and Ryan's and she crashed in the car on the way home...sorry Buffie. We had a good time and mommy....I mean Avery, got plenty of candy. We hope next year will be much easier when she is walking and can actually say "Trick or Treat!". Plenty of fun was had but after changing her in and out of her costume about 10 times, we were ready to call it a night. Hope everyone got lots of candy!
